Schrodinger's Hand Equation

The stencil above I used to create this piece of art called "Schrodinger's Hand Equation". Any closed loop such as the outline of a hand can be turned into a wave pattern as a point traces its perimeter. There are 8 hands in the center. The set above are the hands of a beautiful woman I was privileged to date for a short period of time. Each set of hands contains a smaller pair of hands. The hands above contain a scaled version of the hands below and vice versa. These smaller set of hands are meant to represent the "virtual" selves that we each carried and still carry of each other in our minds. The background is an order 40 complete graph to represent our real plus imaginary fingers. And finally on the left and right halves in gold and grey are the corresponding waves forms of each hand.
